ALTRUDY GOOD NEWS STORY

From Altrudy Senior Apartments. Resident: Brenda Porter

“I waited six years to be able to move into my apartment and the very good news about being accepted at Altrudy is the fact that pets are accepted. I have felt so blessed to be here for the past year. For an apartment, it really feels like home. Most apartments are very cold, but Altrudy exudes a sense of warmth and welcome, even strangers that come visit seem to like the apartment area. We gather at the key times of the year; we are expanding and may have a book club which is amazing for me. Being part of the Altrudy community has really been incredible and my neighbors have become people I can lean on during times of crisis.

Altrudy also creates very natural bonding experiences such as the grocery drop off providing a time for all of us in the apartments. From the Property Manager, IIeana, to the Porter, Estrella, have been very supportive. Whatever is needed, IIeana and social services programs like Ariana with LifeSTEPS and OASIS, aim to assist me to the best of their ability. From the nature of the property design, I’ve felt a deep sense of peace and happiness in seeing the entire property interior and exterior. Even the flooring brings me a sense of peace; it’s so nice even my cat loves it!

There is a very good sense of overall design, form and care in Altrudy’s entire property. This complex has been foundational for the establishment of my mental health.”

Sincerely, Brenda Porter
